Del Real Foods Fire Roasted Salsa

Consumer Review: Del Real Foods Salsa de Molcajeta Roja Fire Roasted Salsa

Salsa de Molcajeta Roja is the bomb!

Your taste buds will get a little jolt as soon as Del Real Foods Salsa de Molcajeta Roja Fire Roasted Salsa hits your tongue. I discovered this salsa on a trip to Costco many months ago and I am just getting around to doing a review.

The first thing I noticed was the smokey taste from being fire roasted. There are only 4 ingredients in this salsa. Fire roasted tomatoes, fire roasted jalapeno peppers, salt and water. In my opinion it is one of the best salsas on the market. Salsa de Molcajeta Roja is the perfect addition to tacos, paired with tortilla chips or used in any of your Mexican inspired recipes. In fact one of my favorite things to do with it is to pour an entire tub of it into a crock pot with 3 chicken breasts and let it cook for 3-4 or so hours. This simple, but delicious recipe makes the best shredded chicken for salads, tacos or enchiladas. Check out my recipe here for Crock-Pot® Fiesta Chicken.

They frequently have “road shows” at Costco and Sams Club and you can taste many of their products. Below is a list of additional products I look forward to trying soon. The list of products typed out in words does not do these items justice. Hop over to their website and check out this tasty looking Mexican food!
